www.aspergersyndrome.org The Online Asperger Syndrome Information and Support. O.A.S.I.S.  is a wonderful resource started by parents of children with Asperger’s Syndrome.  The site includes relevant articles, books, current research, and a chat room for parents and children.

http://www.bayareaasresource.org/  The Bay Area Resource is a web site developed by a mother of a child on the Autistic Spectrum. It includes a extensive list of professionals and programs in the community along with parent comments.

www.tonyattwood.com.au/   Tony Attwood was one of the first clinicians to describe Asperger’s Syndrome for parents.  His site features work – in –progress papers on a wide range of issues related to Asperger’s Syndrome, resources, and his speaking schedule.

http://www.ucdmc.ucdavis.edu/mindinstitute/ The UC Davis M.I.N.D. Institute was created by a small group of parents of children on the Autistic Spectrum driven to find the cause and treatment for Autism.  The MIND institute has become a center for research and clinical services.

http://www.php.com/ Parents Helping Parents is a family resource center for children with any kind of special need (mental, physical, emotional, or learning disabilities).  They have groups that meet to discuss a wide range of relevant issues.

http://www.socialthinking.com/ Michelle Garcia Winner is a speech and language pathologist who has done extensive work with children and adults on the Autistic Spectrum both individually and in groups. She is the director of the Center for Social Thinking, which offers speech oriented social skills groups, professional training, and school consultations.

http://aarr.stanford.edu/ A new website developed by Stanford Adolescent and Child Psychiatry that provides parents, families, and other interested parties with selected published research studies in the medical literature on autism and Asperger syndrome.
